On November 11, we come together to remember the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country in times of war, conflict, and peace. From the battlefields of the First and Second World Wars to peacekeeping missions and the ongoing efforts in global conflicts, their sacrifices have shaped the Canada we cherish today.
This Remembrance Day, we honour all who have answered the call of duty—past, present, and future.
🌺 Lest we forget. 🌺

The Unifor Local 2458 Political Action Committee is dedicated to advocating for the rights and interests of all workers and especially essential workers, who are the backbone of our communities. As a union representing a large majority of essential workers, we recognize the imperative to fight for their rights and challenge unjust systems that perpetuate inequality.
We are committed to lobbying the government to reform mandatory arbitration for essential workers, which has been misused to perpetuate wage disparities and unfair labor practices. Specifically, we seek to address the unconstitutional use of replication by arbitrators, which has been used to justify unequal treatment of part-time and full-time workers.
To achieve our goals, the Political Action Committee will:
Our vision is a fair and just society where all workers including essential workers are valued, respected, and treated with dignity. We believe that by working together, we can create a better future for our members, their families, and our communities.
