Celebrate Labour Day 2026 with your union community! Join Unifor Local 2458, the Windsor and District Labour Council, and fellow workers across the region for a full day of solidarity, fun, and community connection at Lanspeary Park.

• Date: Monday, September 7, 2026

• Parade Details: Staging begins at 8:00 AM on Turner Rd. The parade steps off at 10:00 AM from Unifor 200/444 along Kildare Rd and Ottawa St, finishing at Lanspeary Park.

• Park Festivities: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Lanspeary Park (1260 Langlois Ave, Windsor)

• Free Food & Drinks: Hot dogs, veggie dogs, nachos, ice cream, and soft drinks.

• Family Activities: Free outdoor pool swimming (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM), inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, and art activities.

• Live Entertainment & Contests (Starting at 12:00 PM): Performances by British Beat 66 and Rick Labonte & the Band of Brothers, plus a tug-of-war, colouring contest, and hot dog eating contest!

• Giving Back: Drop off non-perishable food items at the UCH tent and visit the United Way booth for their 50/50 draw.
